Delhi Past its COVID Peak Positivity Rate Drops from 35% to 17% ​After Weeks of Horror

For the first time in nearly a month, Delhi saw clear signs of a slowdown in the surge. On 10th May, the city's positivity rate, (the percentage of all tests performed that are positive) dipped to 19.10%. On 11 May, the positivity rate further dipped to 17.76% with the capital reporting 12,481 Covid cases.

On 12 May, the national capital recorded 82,725 active Covid-19 cases. Delhi will remain under lockdown until 17 May, and will hopefully ease the burden of stretched and exhausted hospitals
