Head of region calls Kazan school shooting a tragedy for Russia

Tatarstan's President Rustam Minnikhanov on Tuesday described the shooting at a school in Kazan that killed seven students and wounded a dozen more as a tragedy for Russia.
School shootings are quite rare in Russia. Authorities said the lone gunman, aged 19, was a registered gun owner.
