Congress, BJP engage in war of words over COVID-19

As India battles the second wave of Covid-19, BJP president JP Nadda has accused the Congress of "misleading" people and creating "false panic" in the fight against the pandemic. In a letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, the BJP chief alleged that the conduct of the party leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, will be remembered for "duplicity and pettiness".
