Even as Kerala faces a spike in daily Covid-19 cases, the case fatality rate (CFR) in the state remains low. Moreover, while the country's healthcare system reels under the second wave of pandemic, Kerala hasn’t reported any shortage of hospital beds or medical oxygen. Rajdeep Sardesai in an interview with Dr Asheel Muhammed, public health specialist and executive director of Kerala Social Security Mission, finds out about the Kerala Model of fighting the pandemic that the other states can emulate.
