Private ambulances in Karnataka continue to charge exorbitant prices from Covid-19 patients, taking them for a ride to hospitals and even to crematoriums. The charges range from Rs.10,000 to 50,000. The patients are being looted. The question is- what is the administration doing? After this issue was highlighted by India Today, the Karnataka government has decided to cap the prices of all private ambulances.
