Iceland eruption sprays lava into night sky

After more than a month of steady effusions of lava, the eruption near Fagradalsfjall in the Reykjanes Peninsula in south-west Iceland is behaving like a geyser with periods of lulling between high lava fountains even visible from the capital Reykjavik, 30 km away.
