Noting on the emergence of new Covid-19 variants and a local super spreader incident where over 2,000 individuals were infected with more than 20 deaths, former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad urged Malaysian to protect themselves by being disciplined and complying with the standard operating procedures (SOP) in a special video address released on Monday (May 10).
