आईपीएल रद्द होने के बाद भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड के पास अब काफी समय बच गया है, पूरे मई में कोई भी क्रिकेट नहीं है, इसके अलावा टीम इंडिया को 18 जून से इंग्लैंड में वर्ल्ड टेस्ट चैंपियनशीप के फाइनल में खेलना है, 18 से 22 जून तक चलने वाले टेस्ट मैच के बाद भी टीम इंडिया के महिने भर का समय है, भारत का इंग्लैंड दौरा 4 अगस्त से शुरु होगा, लेकिन जुलाई महिने के लिए टीम इंडिया के लिए प्लान बना लिया गया है, बीसीसीआई के अध्यक्ष सौरव गांगुली ने रविवार को कहा कि भारतीय टीम जुलाई में श्रीलंका का दौरा करेगी, दौरे में सिर्फ सीमितओवरों की क्रिकेट ही खेली जाएगी, जिसमें टीम के इंडिया के बड़े खिलाड़ी हिस्सा नहीं लेंगे।
