Explained: Oxygen crisis in India amid COVID second wave

With COVID-19 cases surging across the country, a shortage of medical oxygen is reported at various hospitals. Oxygen demands are very high, but supply is short. 9,130 MT tonnes of medical oxygen is being produced and 7,000 MT tonnes is in demand.
