Tanzania's new leader Samia Suluhu Hassan- Paving the way towards more democracy

Tanzanian president Samia Hassan shortly after being sworn in stated she wouldn’t induce a u-turn in Tanzanian politics. She was a close ally of the deceased president John Magufuli. Magufuli’s leadership was marked by his autocratic leadership, by banning political rallies and dissent as well as a denial of the pandemic. Hassan is gently introducing positive changes to fundamental freedoms human rights groups say, paving the way for more democracy in the country. How do analysts, the opposition, and ordinary Tanzanians see Hassan a good month into her leadership? Charles Kombe reports from Dar es Salaam
