Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad suggested for the general election to be held after the current Parliament term ends in 2023.
Taking into account the current pandemic situation in the country, Mahathir warned there will be another Covid-19 wave should any election take place.
He reminded all parties about the Covid-19 spike after the Sabah state snap polls in September last year, which should serve as a lesson to parties involved.
