Police in Eldoret have gunned down a robbery suspect and recovered an AK 47 riffle with 47 rounds of ammunition. The gangster was in the company of two others that managed to escape albeit with gunshot wounds. They are believed to be behind a spate of armed robberies in the region and last week robbed an M-pesa attendant of Ksh 80 000 after shooting her. Uasin Gishu police commander Ayub Gitonga said security officers acting on intelligence report followed the trio from Kipkaren.
