After a neck-to-neck fight that went down to the last round of counting, TMC’s supremo Mamata Banerjee wins from Nandigram by 1,200 votes. It was a close fight with BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari leading with a thin margin till the 16th round of counting. TMC has crossed 200 marks, The BJP is currently struggling with 80 to 85 seats.
