US President Joe Biden intends to send surplus AstraZeneca vaccine to other countries as they become available, the White House said on Monday. The announcement came after President Biden spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the two pledged to “work closely together in the fight against Covid-19”.

On India Today’s special show World Today, Washington Post journalist Tyler Pager talks to Geeta Mohan about how the Biden administration is looking at “strategising assistance to India.”
