Director Garrett Bradley humanizes incarceration in her Oscar-nominated film "Time"

In her film, "Time," that earned her a Best Documentary Oscar nomination, director Garrett Bradley tells the story of Sibil Fox Richardson, a woman fighting for the release of her husband from prison.




"It felt like there is such an absence, such a void of talking about this issue from a Black woman's point of view, from a mother's point of view, from a family's point of view and it just was a natural thing that happened," she said on “Salon Talks.”
