Political blamegame over Nashik oxygen leak tragedy, Delhi's Max Hospital moves HC for urgent oxygen supply; more

Hours after 22 patients died following an oxygen tank leak at Zakir Hussain Hospital in Nashik on Wednesday, BJP blamed the BJP Blames Maharashtra Chief Minister UddhavThackeray-led Aghadi government for the tragedy. However, the chief minister soon ordered a high-level probe into the incident. Meanwhile, Max Healthcare issued a press statement saying that it had only a few hours of medical oxygen supply left. Max Healthcare then moved to the high court seeking an urgent hearing in this regard. A bench of the Delhi HC comprising Justices Vipin Sanghi and Rekha Palli said the Centre was directed to protect the fundamental right to life of citizens who are seriously ill due to Covid-19 and require medical oxygen.
