Incidents of violence and rhetoric are coming to light during the elections in West Bengal. Meanwhile, the Election Commission has sent notice to West Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh over a statement .Ghosh had allegedly said in his statement that 'an event like Sitalakuchi will recur in many places', along with the election. The commission has warned BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari that Shubhendu Adhikari is accused of making objectionable speeches on March 29. He has sent a reply in this regard to the Election Commission on 9 April.

पश्चिम बंगाल (West Bengal) में चुनाव के दौरान हिंसा और बयानबाजी की घटनाएं सामने आ रही हैं. इस बीच चुनाव आयोग ने पश्चिम बंगाल बीजेपी के अध्यक्ष दिलीप घोष के एक बयान को लेकर उन्हें नोटिस भेजा है.. घोष ने अपने बयान में कथित रूप से कहा था कि ‘सीतलकूची जैसी घटना की पुनरावृत्ति अनेक स्थानों पर होगी’,इसके साथ ही चुनाव आयोग ने बीजेपी नेता सुवेंदु अधिकारी को चेतावनी दी है शुभेंदु अधिकारी पर 29 मार्च को आपत्तिजनक भाषण देने का आरोप है. उन्‍होंने इस संबंध में 9 अप्रैल को चुनाव आयोग को जवाब भेजा है.
