Bengal election: EC bans BJP candidate Rahul Sinha from campaigning for 48 hours over Cooch Behar remark

In the run-up to the fifth phase of polling in the West Bengal assembly election, the election commission on Tuesday issued a notice to BJP's candidate Rahul Sinha banning him from campaigning for the next 48 hours. The order came into effect at noon on Tuesday and will remain in place till April 15.
