Nikola Jokic was interviewed after the Nuggets’ 105-87 loss vs the Celtics. Denver was up by as much as 16 during the game but fell after Boston mounted a massive comeback in the third and fourth quarters. The Celtics went on a 40-8 run to end the game.
Jokic was visibly frustrated in the fourth quarter. There was one image that surfaced where he was distanced from his team and did not even join the huddle.
“We didn’t shoot well from the field and from the three,” said Jokic. “We had a lot of assists, maybe, but even that, when we don’t really shoot good at a high level, there’s not much assists.”
Denver shot 36.4% from the field and 23.5% from deep on the day. “At the end of the third quarter and in the fourth quarter was really bad.” Jokic finished with a triple-double on the day - 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists.
