Kemba Walker was interviewed postgame after the Celtics’ 105-87 comeback win vs the Denver Nuggets. Walker commented on the Celtics’ recent streak of comebacks.
“We were just sticking it out,” he said. “Playing hard and utilizing each other out there you know?” The Celtics have completed comeback wins in their last two games vs both the Timberwolves and Nuggets. “Tonight was great, we had a great comeback, and we kind of never looked back and got stronger as the game went on.”
He also talked about the team being able to flip the switch mid-way through the game. “You know, it was a little bit tough,” said Walker. “I guess because those guys were playing really well… making a lot of shots.”
“But you know when things are not going well, you got to try to find a way to do other things,” he said. The team was able to put together a gritty against a red hot Nuggets team that had won eight games in a row. “It was a really, really huge win for us.”
