PM Modi receives second dose of Covid-19 vaccine

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday took the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. He had received the first dose of Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin on March 1.PM Modi took to Twitter to urge all those who are eligible to get vaccinated against Covid-19.

As a fresh wave of coronavirus forced a sense of urgency in India's vaccination campaign, the Centre allowed administering of shots at workplaces with about 100 eligible beneficiaries from April 11. People above the age of 45 are currently eligible for vaccination.
