This is my take on the infamous Branston Pickle. If you like Farmhouse style pickle in your cheese sandwich, then look no further. You have stumbled onto the right video.
How to make Country Farm House Pickle. For this you are going to need:
285g/10oz Brown sugar
2 TBsp Molasses
1 Tsp Salt
1 Lemon cut into pieces
375ml/1.5 cups Malt vinegar
3 Tomatoes chopped
2 Tsp Mustard seeds
2 Tsp All spice
1 Tsp Cayenne pepper
1 Tsp Ground fenugreek seeds
! Tsp Garlic powder
1 Medium swede/rutabaga - Diced
1 Granny smith apple
85g/3oz Dates
1 Onion
1/4 Cauliflower
1 Courgette/zucchini
1 Large carrot
To thicken the pickle:
2 Tsp cornflour/cornstarch
1/4 cup of water
