Anil Deshmukh has resigned from the post of Home Minister after the Bombay High Court directed the CBI inquiry on the allegations against Anil Deshmukh. Earlier, former Mumbai commissioner Parambir Singh accused Deshmukh of pressurizing for extortion. It has been about 15 days since the case came to light. Now the question arises on the safety of evidence. On this, ADG Special Operation Maharashtra PK Jain says that there is no guarantee that the evidence remains so far.
