More Than 90,000 People Once Signed Up for Moon Flights Promised by Pan Am

The now defunct airline issued over 93,000 “First Moon Flights” Club cards to those who wanted a seat on the first commercial flight to the moon. While a reservation on the waiting list was free, Pan Am said "fares are not fully resolved, and may be out of this world."
