Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said that Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) will win more than 200 seats in West Bengal assembly and will form the government.

Speaking to India Today TV, Shah said that his claim of BJP winning 26 of the 30 seats in the first phase in Bengal was a conservative one.

BJP leader Amit Shah Tuesday said that his party's candidate from Nandigram Suvendu Adhikari is certain to win in the upcoming assembly polls.

Speaking to India Today TV while addressing a roadshow in the most keenly-watched constituency in Bengal, Amit Shah said that the mood in Bengal is for change.

"We urge the people to the victory of Suvendu Adhikari with a huge margin, so that people in the future will not dare to break their promises. We are sure about BJP victory in West Bengal and people are waiting for their turn to vote," he said.
