Curacao thumped Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 5-0 in their World Cup qualifier in Willemstad on Thursday.

The match was coach Guus Hiddink's first in charge of the national team and he didn't have long to wait for a reason to be happy.

Juninho Bacuna opened the account for the hosts in the first minute when he pounced on a loose pass from Camel Bess to score.

He added a second 34 minutes later, while Anthony van den Hurk, Jarchinio Antonia and Elson Hooi scored the others.
