Khris Middleton was interviewed after the Celtics 121-119 loss vs the Bucks and reacted to his huge game. He was asked about Boston’s comeback near the end of the game. He praised the Celtics’ ability to fight back and said that they got a solid look at the end. This was in reference to Daniel Theis’ final shot that didn’t fall.
He was asked about the Celtics' coverage throughout the game. Coach Brad Stevens threw a few different coverages at the Bucks throughout the game. Middleton says he was just able to find his spots and hit the shots when they came to him.
Media members asked Middleton about his lob to Lopez late in the game. Marcus Smart was on him and Lopez had the mismatch. "That's a seven-footer," said Middleton.
Middleton also talked about the matchup vs the Celtics. This is the second game that came down to the wire between the two teams. Middleton talked about how they wished they had kept the lead, but that it's good to be in close games as a "learning experience."
