Eoin Morgan backs his team's aggresive approach even after facing defeat in Pune| Oneindia Sports

England skipper Eoin Morgan refused to blame any of his players for the 66-run defeat to India in the first ODI and said there were positives in the way they went about their business though they lacked partnerships in the big run chase. Chasing 318 for a win, England top-order got off to a spectacular start against a new-look Indian bowling attack before debutant Prasidh Krishna and Shradul Thakur seized the momentum sharing seven wickets between them to derail the England innings.

पहले वनडे मैच में इंग्लैंड को करारी शिकस्त झेलनी पड़ी. एक जीता हुआ मैच इंग्लैंड हार गया. ऐसी हार जिसे पचा पाना मुश्किल था. मॉर्गन जब मैच के बाद बयान दिया तो काफी हैरान भरा बयान था. साफ़ तौर पर उनके बयान से पता चला कि उन्हें हार का दुःख जरा भी नहीं है. जिस तरह से इंग्लैंड के बल्लेबाजों ने बल्लेबाजी की. वो उसी तरह से आगे भी जारी रखना चाहते हैं. गौरतलब है कि एक समय जॉनी बेयरस्टो और जेसन रॉय के दम पर मेहमान टीम बिना विकेट खोए 135 रन बना चुकी थी लेकिन इंग्लैंड सिर्फ 251 रनों पर सिमट गया. मॉर्गन ने कहा, "अगर आप हमारे टॉप 7 बल्लेबाज देखेंगे तो सभी के अंदर 60 गेंदों में शतक जड़ने की क्षमता है. इसी तरह से खेलना हमारी ताकत भी है.
