Nyamira County On The Spot Over Ghost Workers

Nyamira County Government Has Been Put On The Spot After It Emerged That It May Have Paid Ghost Workers To A Tune Of Sh2.8 Billion In The 2018/19 Financial Year. The Auditor General Nancy Gathungu Has Revealed That The County Executive Hired Some 736 Officers And Paid Them Outside The Integrated Payroll And Personnel Database System.
