One of the few ancient tombs lying next to the Sungai Batu Archaeological Complex in the district of Kuala Muda, Kedah is believed to be that of Sultan Mudzaffar Shah I, the first ruler of the current Kedah Sultanate.

Local tourist guide Mohd Faizy Said said the site is an important piece of Kedah Tua history and should be preserved and maintained well for future generations.
