Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh on Saturday stoked controversy after he wrote a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray claiming Anil Deshmukh, a senior NCP leader from Nagpur district, had asked suspended Mumbai cop Sachin Vaze to collect Rs 100 crore monthly from bars and hotels in Mumbai.
