Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Friday evening termed extortion allegations against him to be ‘false’. He responded to the grave allegations levelled against him by former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh who earlier said Deshmukh asked suspended Mumbai Police officer Sachin Vaze to collect Rs 100 crore for him every month.
