WhatsApp, Instagram suffer global outage for nearly an hour

A lot of people across the globe, including in India could not read messages, posts as WhatsApp was down on Friday night for almost to an hour. Millions of users across the world and in India found that WhatsApp stopped working around 11 PM. Other social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook Messenger too suffered outage around the same time. The services, including WhatsApp, were back online around 45 minutes later, close to midnight. For more, watch the video.
