Former US President Donald Trump's net worth dropped by about $700 million during his four years of presidency, according to the latest estimate from the Bloomberg Billionaire Index.
When Trump took office in 2017, his net worth was estimated to be about $3 billion. Now, Bloomberg estimates that the former president is worth about $2.3 billion—a decline of about $700 million.
The Covid-19 pandemic also hit his fortunes hard, with Trump's office buildings, hotels and resorts losing revenue and falling in value. In addition to that, his fleet of planes and golf courses have also seen drops in their value.
