After living in Germany, Brenda Mandel and her husband moved back to the Philippines and settled in Cabuyao, Laguna.

They plan to explore the country's beautiful islands.

But their plans changed when they adopted a stray dog.

As a dog lover and pet owner, Brenda couldn't bear seeing the dog eat food out of the garbage.

She decided to adopt this dog and later on, her dog family grew bigger and bigger.

Brenda now has over 40 dogs.

People may tag her "crazy" for continuously choosing to adopt stray dogs and place them under her care, but Brenda is determined to give them a better life.
