The Ashtavinayak yatra or pilgrimage covers the eight ancient holy temples of Ganesh which are situated around Pune. Each of these temples has its own individual legend and history, as distinct from each other as the murtis in each temple.
ChintamaniGanpati temple in theur comes among the fifth Ganesha Temples to be visited. It is the temple that is dedicated to the Lord Ganesha son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. When it comes to Ashtavinayak Yatra, it is one of the famous temples which is located 27.04km from Pune region in Maharashtra.
