Officer shot, taken to hospital in Apache Junction; suspect shot, second in custody

An officer with the Apache Junction Police Department has been taken to the hospital after being shot during a pursuit Tuesday afternoon. Their condition is not known. A second person was shot and taken to the hospital and another person has been taken into custody, a police spokesperson said.
