Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin on Monday (Mar 15) said Malaysia will proceed with the purchase of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine as there was no evidence of an increased risk of blood clots.

Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba added that the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) has given conditional approval for the vaccine developed by the British-Swedish firm with Oxford University.
