Congress sees votes in infiltrators: Amit Shah in Assam
  • 3 years ago
Union Home Minister Amit Shah accused Congress of searching votes in infiltrators during a public rally in Assam’s Tinsukia on March 14 ahead of state assembly elections starting from March 27 and will be held in three phases. “In Kerala, they have partnered with Muslim League that divided nation, in Bengal it's Furfura Sharif and here it's Badruddin Ajmal. This party can stoop to any low to win,” said Amit Shah. Targeting Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi’s visit to Assam’s tea garden, the Home Minister said that Congress remembers tea gardens only when elections are around the corner.
