TMC workers protested near Shaheed Minar in Sonachura of Nandigram on March 14. They raised anti-BJP slogans ahead of Suvendu Adhikari’s visit. Suvendu Adhikari is scheduled to visit Shaheed Minar later in the day. Adhikari is contesting against sitting Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee from Nandigram. West Bengal will go to Assembly polls in eight phases starting from March 27. Counting of votes will be held on May 2.
