NSW has ended its 55 day streak without a local case of COVID-19 after a worker at two hotel quarantine facilities tested positive late last night. The employee had received their first vaccine dose but Professor Robert Booy, an infectious diseases specialist at the University of Sydney, says its effects are not immediate.
