Azeem Mansuri wants a bride. But every time a family comes visiting with a "rishta" (proposal for marriage), Azeem, 26, tells himself he must not get his hopes up. He's just over 2 feet tall. And though he runs a cosmetics store and earns enough, they see him and then they leave. After exhausting the conventional, and sometimes unconventional, matchmaking ways, he has now sought help from the police. He wants them to find him a bride as a "public service."

उत्‍तर प्रदेश के शामली से एक अजीबोगरीब मामला सामने आया है. एक युवक अनोखी शिकायत लेकर थाने पर पहुंचा. पुलिस भी युवक की शिकायत सुनने के बाद हैरान रह गई. युवक ने महिला थाने पहुंचकर पुलिस से गुहार लगाई है कि उसकी शादी करा दी जाए. उसने कहा कि उसकी हाइट 2 फीट है जिसकी वजह से उसे दुल्हन नहीं मिल पा रही है. युवक ने शिकायत पत्र में पुलिस से पढ़ी लिखी लड़की ढूंढकर शादी कराने की गुजारिश की।
