Lou Grant Season 2, Episode 5: Murder

While Rossi covers as a human-interest story an attempted robbery involving an upper-class white woman in Pasadena who hit one of the assailants with a golf club, Billie investigates the murder of a poor black woman in South Central Los Angeles and finds the story to have far greater social relevance than Rossi's.
