THE LAST WITCH HUNTER - L'ULTIMO CACCIATORE DI STREGHE

The Last Witch Hunter è un film del 2015 diretto da Breck Eisner, che racconta la storia del cacciatore di streghe Kaulder (Vin Diesel). Reso immortale da una maledizione potente e antichissima scagliata dalla Regina delle Streghe (Julie Engelbrecht) prima che l'uomo riuscisse ad ucciderla, Kaulder si occupa di proteggere l'umanità dal male e attraversa i secoli, senza mutare aspetto né invecchiare mai. Ai giorni nostri, le streghe possiedono ancora straordinari poteri, sebbene esse abbiano accettato di vivere tra gli umani nascondendo la propria magia, per non incappare nella punizione di Kaulder. Il cacciatore, nel frattempo, si è unito all’ordine sacro de ‘L’Ascia e la Croce’. Quando il Dolan (Michael Caine), a capo dell’ordine, muore in modo misterioso, Kaulder sospetta che alcune streghe siano cospirando per ottenere il controllo del mondo e chiede aiuto al nuovo Dolan (Elijah Wood) e all’intraprendente strega Chloe (Rose Leslie) per proteggere gli umani e compiere la sua missione.
