Virat Kohli and Stokes were involved in a verbal spat after the England batsman exchanged a few words with Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj. Following the end of day's play in Ahmedabad, Siraj was quizzed about the incident by former Indian cricketer and full-time pundit Murali Kartik. Recalling Stokes' unsavoury remarks on Day 1 of the 4th and final Test at Motera, Siraj revealed that he was abused by the Englishman before Kohli took over and handled the aggravating situation afterward.
