Car Tailgating Closely Behind Another Car on Highway Has a Near Miss

This person was driving down a busy highway when they noticed a car tailgating closely behind them. Somewhere down the road, they had to hit the brake suddenly as a car ahead of them took a left-hand turn. However, as the person driving behind them was tailing them without an adequate gap, they almost rear-ended their car. To avoid hitting the car, they swerved to the right rapidly, causing multiple cars behind them to veer immediately. The driver has a near miss as other drivers acted promptly. This could have easily turned into a multiple-car collision if it were not for the quick thinking of others.
