BCCI likely to shift ODI series from Pune to other city due to covid cases| Oneindia Sports

India are currently in the the midst of a four-Test match series against England, with the home team India leading the visitors 2-1 after three Tests. The series is set to be followed by both a T20I and an ODI series – the five T20Is will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad whereas the three-match ODI series will take place in Pune. However, it seems as if the ODI series could be shifted out of the Maharashtra city due to fears revolving around the coronavirus pandemic. India has seen a slight upsurge in cases in recent times and Maharashtra has been one of the worst-hit states.

भारत और इंग्लैंड के बीच होने वाली वनडे सीरिज से पहले बड़ी परेशानी बीसीसीआई के सामने आकर खड़ी हो गयी है. कोरोना की वजह से पुणे में खेले जाने वाले तीनों वनडे मैच अब खटाई में पड़ने वाला है. माना जा रहा है कि बीसीसीआई अब पुणे से ये सीरिज कहीं शिफ्ट कर सकती है. कोरोना के बढ़ते केस ने सवालिया निशान खड़ा कर दिया है. बता दें, भारत में फिलहाल टेस्ट सीरीज के अलावा घरेलू वनडे टूर्नामेंट, विजय हजारे ट्रॉफी का भी आयोजन किया जा रहा है. 6 अलग-अलग शहरों में बायो-बबल बनाकर सभी घरेलू टीमों के बीच मैच खेले जा रहे हैं. इसके बावजूद 3 खिलाड़ियों में कोरोना संक्रमण पाये जाने के बाद BCCI की चिंता में है और इसका असर वनडे सीरीज के स्थान पर पड़ सकता है. महाराष्ट्र में फिलहाल केसों में फिर से बढ़ोतरी होने लगी है.
