Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi has courted controversy after apparently splitting voters of South India and the north. As per BJP, Rahul Gandhi said voters of South India are not "superficial", unlike the north. He then went on to say South Indians are unlike their northern counterparts are interested in political issues and go into details. He also described the southern voters as "intelligent".
