A shocking incident has come to light from Ramnagar village in West Bengal’s Murshidabad. A resident was issued a voter ID card with a dog’s picture on it. Sunil Karmakar had applied for a correction in his voter ID card and when he received the revised card, it had a dog’s photo instead of him. The Block Development Officer (BDO) told ANI that mistake must have been committed while filling online application. He further added that the picture has already been corrected and Sunil Karmakar will soon get the revised ID card with the correct photo.
