Nikhil Kumaraswamy, son of former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, tied the knot with Revathi on April 17. Revathi is the grand-niece of former Congress Minister for Housing M Krishnappa. The wedding took place at Ramnagara amid the nationwide lockdown. Many weddings have been cancelled across the country following the coronavirus outbreak. As per a PTI report, Kumaraswamy had earlier said that the event will be a low-key affair of two families with a minimum number of people. He had further appealed to his party workers, relatives and well-wishers not to visit the venue. The number of positive cases in Karnataka stands at 315, with a death toll of 13 people.
